Information Technology Advisor, Ernst & Young, Athens

Ernst & Young is currently seeking highly motivated people for our Advisory practice, which is a leading provider of services to financial industry and large corporate clients of all industries. You will work in multi-disciplinary teams to provide a broad range of information technology related advisory services, such as IT strategy and architecture, IT implementation support, software development, IT risk assessment, information security and IT audit.

Team members include professionals with a variety of backgrounds, including excellent academic credentials in quantitative sciences, IT, engineering, business and economics, as well as deep professional experience in Greece and abroad.

As a member of our Advisory team you will contribute technical insight to Advisory client engagements in Greece and abroad and internal projects

Technical skills requirements:

• Excellent academic background, including at a minimum a bachelor and a master degree in:Excellent business writing and verbal communication skills both in Greek and English. Knowledge of additional languages will be considered an asset.
• Mathematics (preferably Applied Mathematics), Engineering, Information Technology, Operational Research or other related field with strong quantitative focus. Degrees from internationally renowned institutions will be considered as a strong asset, as will a Ph.D. degree.
• Analytical and problem solving skills.
• Broad consulting and project management skills.
• Willingness and ability to travel and work abroad for international projects.
• Completed military obligations (where applicable).

Furthermore any of the following will be considered an asset:

• Strong software development skillsKnowledge of mathematical and statistics modelling tools (e.g. Matlab, SAS, SPSS, etc)
• VB/VB.NET, JAVA, C/C++, SQL, etc,
• Relevant working experience in the following areas: Knowledge of IT architecture design; operating systems; database management systems and networks
• Implementation of IT systems, including analysis, design, software development, UAT, data quality and availability support
• Information security, risk management, business continuity/disaster recovery planning, IT audit
• Business intelligence, data analytics, data quality
• Assessment and improvement of performance of business functions, development of respective frameworks and designing / re – engineering of processes and systems
• IT related professional qualifications
