young researcher in ICT-related field, or considering a career in ICT related
research and innovation? Would you like to learn about the next directions of
ICT research in Europe and meet ICT innovators,
researchers and entrepreneurs? Apply to become a student/young ambassador at
ICT 2013!
Young
researchers and students can participate in ICT 2013 event not only as simple
participants, but as ICT 2013 event ambassadors. A student ambassador needs to
meet the specific criteria.
The young
ambassadors will contribute to the event in different roles:
- Session reporters will be following selected conference sessions and write summaries of the highlights, which will be published on the blog;
- Conference highlighters will follow the conference and tweet about it; they will take photos and make short interviews on the spot which will be put online;
- Exhibition watchers will tweet about exhibition and will highlight the most attractive exhibits. They may also act as exhibition guides for secondary school and university students;
- Social media managers will help to coordinate the information and content produced by different ambassadors. They will manage the content and be responsible for creating specific entries in Facebook and on Twitter.
