The International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) is the world's center of cooperation in the
nuclear field. It was set up in 1957 as the world's "Atoms for Peace"
organization within the United Nations family. The Agency works with its Member States
The Division of Information Technology provides
support to the IAEA in the field of ICT (information and communication
technology), including information systems for technical programmes and
management. It is responsible for planning, developing and implementing an ICT
strategy, for setting and enforcing common ICT standards throughout the
Secretariat and for managing central ICT services.
